How to Delete an iOS Version of Instagram Account
The easiest way for iPhone users to delete Instagram is to use an app. To do this, the following steps must be taken;
-Go to your profile
-Tap the menu at the top right, and select Settings. Then go to Accounts, and scroll down to the bottom of the menu.
-There will be a Delete Account button at the very bottom or it says ‘Deleted Account’
-Then when clicked, will bring up a menu asking if you want to delete or deactivate your account

-Press the Delete account button will bring up a message saying you can stop the deletion process on a certain date if you log back in
-Tap the red button Continue deleting the account, and the app will open the approval webpage
-You can complete the deletion process after you answer the question why you deleted your account.
-Then enter the password to confirm
That’s how to delete an account from an iOS device. For those of you Android users, you can’t do the above method. Here are the steps to take.
How to Delete Instagram Account from Android
You can check the Delete Account option by following the instructions for iOS above, but if it’s not available, you’ll need to do it using the web. Here are the ways:
-Go to the dedicated Instagram account deletion request page, which can be found here.
-Enter your Instagram account ID and password
-Account view changes to account deletion page. Choose the reason why you want to delete the account
-Then the display will ask you to enter the password before the account is deleted.
