How to avoid spoilers on Twitter?
Marvel movies are expected by half the world for months. And the net does give courage to go to Twitter and see a filtered scene or image or a super detailed description of a post-credits scene.
Fortunately, the social network has an excellent option that will allow you to dodge spoilers a bit and it is about mute words.
As it sounds, you can choose words, phrases, users or even hashtags so that tweets do not appear that include them in your chronology.
The first thing you have to do is go to “Settings and privacy” in the general menu of the app.
Then go to the option “Privacy & Security” and choose the section of “Mute and lock”.
There you will see several options and you have to choose the one from “Silenced words”. If you have never done this process, you will see a notice that tells you more about this function.
Later, a list of what you already have muted will be displayed. If you are just going to add words or want to put more alone tap the plus sign.
Be sure to put ALL variants of the title and even characters of your film and series and of course. For example, from Spider-Man: spiderman, spider man, spider-man, spidey, spider man, peter parker, parker, no way home, no way home, post credits scene, post credits, cameo, etc.
There you will see a section where you can enter several words, phrases, users or hashtags. You can also choose where you want to mute them from.

You can make tweets that include what you want to silence do not appear either in your start timeline, or in your notifications and even of any user.
Finally, you have to choose how long do you want to silence those words on Twitter. The options it gives are:
- Forever
- 24 hours from now
- 7 days from now
- 30 days from now
Although you can unmute words at any time.

How to avoid spoilers on Facebook?
I wish blocking spoilers on Facebook was as easy as on Twitter. Sadly, this application does not allow you to silence words as in the previous case.
However, if friends, relatives, or pages that you know usually post spoilers without thinking about other people come to mind, then you can do something about it.
Facebook gives you the option to hide posts from a person, page, or group for 30 days.
First you have to go to a post of that person, group or page. Then, you have to bite him in the three points that appear in the upper right-hand side of the publication.
A menu will be displayed where one of the options says “Hide to (name of person, group or page) for 30 days “ and thus their publications will stop appearing to you.

How to avoid spoilers on Instagram?
Something very similar to Facebook happens here, since Instagram does not allow specific words or topics to be silenced. So you will have to do the same: think about accounts that you follow and that could post spoilers.
In this case you have to go to the person’s profile and click on the button “Following”. Several options will be displayed and you must click “Silence”.
There you can choose if you don’t want to see the Publications and / or Stories that from now on publish that account. Are they will no longer appear on your timeline, but if you enter his profile you will see everything.
And no, that person will have no idea that you have them silenced.
