How to make a valid appointment for Brazil (CAVB)?

NB. You should never make an appointment for a visa application for Brazil through the CAVC link and vice versa. Otherwise your appointment will not be confirmed. Please preferably book your appointments online as indicated above to progress well in your visa application process. The OIM CAVB remains at your disposal. Online appointment booking is free. The assistance of an external visa officer is not required to book an appointment, apply, pay or collect results. Please note that if the instructions are unclear, do not hesitate to contact the IOM CAVB directly.
Please note that you are not allowed to book an appointment in the system that is older than 2 months from the day the appointment is made.
To make an appointment for an application for a family reunification visa or humanitarian visa for Brazil, please follow these recommendations:
A) Family reunification visa

B) Humanitarian Visa
You will need to provide the following information to register:
- Your personal email address
- Your full name as it appears on your passport. (Name of visa applicant)
- Your date of birth as it appears on your passport. (Birth of visa applicant)
- Your telephone number (of the visa applicant).
- The area (address) where you live.
- The department in which your address is located.
- A verification message will be automatically sent to you, check your mailbox to obtain access to confirm or cancel the appointment for Brazil.
- Once confirmed or cancelled, you will receive another message on your mailbox to receive the final message relating to the status of your appointment.
- Use the same personal email address you previously provided to always receive updates on your appointment/case.
