“We’re rolling out a new disappearing messages option on WhatsApp today so you’ll be able to make all new messages disappear by default after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days,” Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook at the time.
“Not all messages have to last forever,” he added in the brief announcement.
“Previously, messages on WhatsApp were designed to only disappear after 7 days,” he added.
“Wow, you actually helped my partner cheat. So I had to check his phone in less than 90 days,” wrote a comment that garnered many reactions.
