We talk about breathing light effect, a very attractive animation that by means of the edge lighting of our Xiaomi, taking advantage of AMOLED technology, it is able to alert us to an incoming notification.
Thanks to this lighting effect introduced for the first time in MIUI 11 and that we also find in MIUI 12 or MIUI 12.5, our Xiaomi will illuminate its edges, creating a quite striking visual effect and that certainly replaces the missing notification LED.
How to activate the breathing light effects for your Xiaomi notifications
In order to activate these breathing light effects on your Xiaomi for the arrival of each new notification, you just have to follow these simple steps:
- Go to Settings> Always-on screen and Lock screen> Notification effect
- Once inside, you just have to choose the type of animation that you like the most
In addition, it should be noted that this effect can be combined with Always on Display or Always on Display mode. If we activate the latter, we can also customize the content that will be displayed on the lock screen.
