Although the traditional Chinese language was available in The Elder Scrolls 5 and Fallout 4 in the past, this time Bethesda did not provide the traditional Chinese language system for players in Taiwan to use. However, with the efforts of many netizens, we still have a modified Traditional Chinese language file pack module available. The content of this language pack is converted from Simplified Chinese in the game and has been partially modified. The way to use it is also very simple. You can use the Vortex management software to install it on the Nexus Mods website, or directly download the language file to overwrite the existing file, and you can change the game to a traditional Chinese interface.
To back up XGP players before overwriting, you need to load an extra file
This time, many players criticized the game for not having built-in traditional Chinese. Fortunately, many enthusiastic netizens provided modules and modified the text to make it more in line with Taiwanese language and player needs. Ordinary players only need to download the relevant files from the Nexus Mods website and overwrite them to use them. XGP users need to download more Starfield.ini files. However, whether you are a Steam or XGP player, it is recommended to back up the file before overwriting the file to avoid trouble after the update. The files to be backed up are Starfield_zhhans.ini and Starfield.ini for XGP users. In addition, if the file is overwritten, the traditional Chinese language system is still not displayed when entering the game. Then use Notepad to open the Starfield.ini file, and fill in the specific description in the following location, save Starfield.ini and enter the game to display it normally.
Files to backup before overwriting:

▲Although using the traditional Chinese module will still not be smooth in some places, it should be much more comfortable for Taiwanese players than watching simplified Chinese.
