Listening to music has become commonplace for millions of people. It has always been something common for everyone, but with the arrival of streaming platforms and their integration into mobile phones, along with the rise of True Wireless headphones, it has become platforms like Spotify in the best way to listen to our favorite music with quality, on our mobile, or by sending the audio to dozens of different devices. Now the app has been updated with a new functionality that allows us to access at a glance all the songs that we have recently played.
Recover all those songs that you liked
Those of us who listen to a lot of music and have little time to recreate ourselves in knowing what we are listening to at all times, we like to recover the last songs we have listened to, in order to be able to recover those that had caught our attention or to continue delving into the work of a concrete artist. The new feature that Spotify adds is basically a timeline in which we will be able to consult all the songs that we have listened recently and when we have done it.
To access we just have to open the Spotify app, we always talk about the latest version available, and press the new icon that the platform has added. We can access it from the starting screen. In the upper right we see two icons, the one to the left of both is the one for the recently played songs, it is next to the one to access the application settings. Once we enter we can see a list of the songs we have listened to in recent months. In our case we have verified that the views of the last three months.
Therefore the content that is displayed is very numerous. We can see each song next to the date we played it at the time. It shows the thumbnail of the album cover, the name of the track, the artist and on the right we have whats three vertical points. These give us access to all the details of the song, and the contextual menu that allows us to add it to a new playlist, share it or go to your radio, come on, the same options that we access from any other area of the application.
In this way, if you do not remember the name of a song that you have recently played and want to recover it, the best thing without a doubt is to access this new section of the application. A fairly straightforward feature, certainly, but extremely useful. And we are surprised that it arrived so late, when it was one of the most popular. Many times, especially now that we listen to music massively, we need to dive through what we have heard to recover music that we like and want to listen to again, and without a doubt this is the best way to do it.
