The only son of the star “Rodney” Vladimir followed in the footsteps of the great actress, but could not live to an advanced age. Fateful for the heir of Nonna Mordyukova and Vyacheslav Tikhonov was the role in the film “Russian Field”.
In the tape of Nikolai Moskalenko, Vladimir Tikhonov played the 18-year-old son of the foreman-tractor driver Fedosya (Nonna Mordyukova). Her husband (Leonid Markov) leaves her, and the offspring tries to rebel against the breakup of her parents. He gets behind the wheel of a tractor and tries to run over the car with his father and his new passion.
The life of the on-screen son Mordyukova ends tragically – he dies while serving in the army in a clash on the border (presumably on the Soviet-Chinese border). Tikhonov Jr. had no less tragedy in real life. He began to drink early, used drugs and died at the age of 40 from acute heart failure. As in the film, the mother had to bury her son – at 65 years old. After 17 years, she reunited with him.
