A mathematician from the American city of Raleigh in the state of North Carolina won the lottery jackpot thanks to the number Pi, US media reported.
64-year-old bartender Jonathan Ruby, who loves mathematics, bought a lottery ticket for a dollar and introduced the sequence in which the number Pi begins: 3, 14, 15, 31 and 41.
As a result, the man became one of the three winners and became rich with $ 578,800. He explained that the number Pi, which helped him win, appeared regularly in his life. “I saw this number all the time, so karma told me to use it,” the man said.
The American clarified that the number 314 was even at the address where he lived as a child.
After paying taxes, the profit is $ 137,000. The lucky man plans to pay his bills and save the rest of his retirement money.
