Publicist Andrei Piontkovsky is convinced that it is the liberation of Crimea that will bring down the Putin regime in the Russian Federation.
The appearance of aviation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will quickly change the course of the war, and it is best to begin the liberation of territories with its help from the Crimea, said Andrei Piontkovsky. When the Russian occupiers leave the annexed peninsula under the pressure of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, it will be a complete collapse for Putin.

The political scientist described what Western military assistance should be like for Ukraine to defeat the enemy:
“It is possible to train 30, 40, 50 Ukrainian pilots, and, probably, they are already completing their training, but this will be the solution: we need to send two hundred modern French Mirage and British Typhoon aircraft to Ukraine, and send well-coordinated air forces of the air forces of these states. This will instantly change the course of the war, because the war has its own center of gravity and there is an extremely vulnerable area for Russia – the Crimean Peninsula“.
At the same time, Andrei Piontkovsky explained under what conditions the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to deal a crushing blow to Putin’s reputation:
“Even without possessing either a fleet or aviation, Ukraine has already thrown out the Russian Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol and from the Black Sea. Every day, as we are talking now, I am sure that Ukraine is striking targets in Sevastopol. Getting the planes ready for use will simply throw the entire Russian group out of Crimea quite quickly, which will be not only a military, but also a huge political and psychological defeat for Putin and will decide the outcome of the war. I think that’s the point Macron’s doctrine. It is precisely this point of view that should be welcomed in every possible way“.
