The 52-year-old rapper is serving as a special correspondent for NBC at the Games, similar to the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, where he rose to fame with his humorous commentary on a dressage ride.

Snoop Dogg supports horses – but only from a safe distance
Despite his fear, Snoop Dog dared to feed some of the horses. Accompanied by Stewart, he explained: “I’m interested in the horses that dance, and I want to give them some carrots and apples and make sure they’re fed before they do their thing.” When US presenter Stewart asked if he had ever sat on a horse, he replied: “No, I’m scared.”
Stewart, who organized the dressage schedule, explained: “Snoop called me and said that he knows I know horses and that he is a little bit scared of horses.” The musician himself added: “I’m still scared of horses.”

During his visit, Snoop Dogg recalled the viral footage of a “horse crip walking” at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, joking, “This horse is off the chain. I gotta get this motherfucker in a video!” After the dressage competition, the American headed to the Parc des Princes, where he watched the U.S. women’s team defeat Japan 1-0 in the Olympic soccer tournament.

In addition to the team gold, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl also won the gold medal in the individual dressage competition for Germany.
In dressage, however, Snoop was unable to support the US athletes with his presence. The US dressage team’s medal dreams at the Olympic Games ended abruptly when one of their horses suffered a minor injury. On the very first day of the dressage competition, the American team was excluded from the team competition.
