Organizations in defense of transport users held a virtual press conference to discuss the safe use of the public transport system.

The Tri-State Transportation Campaign and Green for All organizations organized the virtual event, following the publication of recommendations on how to protect millions of Americans who depend on the public transportation system from Covid-19.
One of the reports, named Back on Board, talks about how coronavirus spreads in transportation systems and features more than 50 safety recommendations from health experts, epidemiologists, and social behavior experts.
The studies seek to ensure that federal and local governments focus on targeting funds and solutions for users in need.
The virtual conference discussed the implications that the policies adopted in response to the pandemic will have in the coming years.
