Russia has lost its leverage over Europe and the Western world, and thus its place in the global energy market. Since February 24 of last year, when Putin announced the invasion of Ukraine, one of the main trump cards of the Kremlin to break the spirit of Western support for Ukraine was energy resources. Campaigns about the freezing European population were visible on the Kremlin’s propaganda channels with marked regularity. However, it is already clear that Europeans do not freeze and most likely will not. Instead, something much better has happened – the world economy is learning to live without Russian energy resources. Putin has lost his most influential lever, and this raises the question: what is Russia’s future in the world market?
