“I’m very happy with how my career has progressed, but I have a lot of respect for those who were able to stop their terms. It’s a difficult thing to do because you always feel like you have more left in the tank.”
Reflecting on his legacy, Federer acknowledges his impact on the sport. “I hope that I have inspired a generation of players to play with grace, to play with elegance, to play with respect for the game and the opposition. I have always tried to apply those values on and off the court.”
