entertainment">Amsterdam – Finally money. In the theater world, plenty of old bills have been paid in recent weeks, now that the sector received more than 100 million in corona compensation. The money went to producers with the aim of paying artists, musicians and costume designers who lost revenue due to the last lockdown. Which employees musical producer Rick Engelkes has paid of the 4.3 million he received on his account for his musical William of Orange is a mystery: the performance was never performed or rehearsed and the theater in which the show would be shown was never built and the environmental permit for it has not yet been finalized. This is apparent from research by the Noordhollands Dagblad.
