Andrey Razin, the producer of the Laskovy May group, once burned most of the money the musical team earned from performances in the USSR in an old house near Ryazan, where the cash was stored in sugar bags.

As Razin said, the bags occupied several rooms. At some point, Razin began to face a criminal article for “embezzlement of state property on an especially large scale.” Thus, the producer decided to get rid of the evidence.
At the time of the Soviet Union, KGB chairman Vladimir Kryuchkov reported in a note to Mikhail Gorbachev that the Tender May teams earned an average of 6,721 rubles a day. With this money, it was possible to buy a new car every day, reports “TVNZ”.
