Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Munahar Muchtar died day. Munahar died at the age of 56.

With still puffy eyes, Fachry told about the various kindnesses of his father-in-law. He claimed to emulate Munahar’s humble personality.
“Very good, he has never been favoritism with this son-in-law, this one, they are all the same,” he said.
“It’s the same with their adopted children. Both Muslims and non-Muslims are all treated the same. Everything that is done is in accordance with Islamic teachings,” he added.
Fachry said his father-in-law never complained of being sick. He said Munahar usually only complained of being tired or catching a cold.
“There are no (known diseases). That’s what we also don’t know, usually only complaining about catching a cold. Yesterday he was admitted to the hospital on Thursday,” he said.
As a son-in-law, he admits that he misses Munahar very much. He stated that he would always pray for the best for his late father-in-law.
Met differently, Head of RT 05/RW 08 Kp Lamporan, Lukman said he had known Munahar since he was little. Munahar, he said, was his teacher in junior high school.
“He used to be a Koran teacher in this village, around the 90s. From a young age, that was my teacher, from junior high school I’ve been reciting the Koran with him,” said Lukman.
Lukman stated that Munahar was an unforgettable figure in that environment. Because, he said, Munahar was a very good religious teacher in that environment.
“In all Kp. Reports are definitely people who are currently in the organization, then those in the environment, all the results of his upbringing for sure,” he said.
“He is sociable and his knowledge cannot be doubted. From the beginning he only taught us as a religion teacher in our village, then (now) he has grown up,” he continued.
Lukman admits that he really misses a teacher. He said he would not be able to forget the figure of Muntahar.
“We feel very lost. Our discussion was also with other friends, it is possible that we will not be able to find a figure like him in my village,” he concluded.
