An improvement in WhatsApp images and videos will reach mobile phones in 2021. Thanks to this new feature, users of the most popular messenger will be able to copy and paste media files easier and faster, without using the sharing menu.
According to the site WABetainfo, which specializes in publishing news related to the messaging service, the beta version 2.21.10.23 of the application will arrive with this new function on the clipboard that, initially, will be available on the iPhone.
With this feature, the WhatsApp user will not have to use the share button, select the application and then go to the chat where they want to send a photo or video.
Just go directly to the application, click on the dialog box as if it were just text and select “paste”. The messenger will then copy all the images and videos that you have selected in your gallery and you can send them faster and easier.
This way of sharing content without having to open the share menu is expected to cause a noticeable change in the experience of using the application, especially on some medium / low devices, as it will save a few seconds.
At the moment, multiple file copying is available on all devices associated with WhatsApp Beta and very soon on those who do not have access to this version. The rest will have to wait a little longer, at least until the tests are over before it begins to massively start.
