Gold is one of the main sources of wealth of the plantation, a status that is shared by practically every part of the world, and which it still maintains today, albeit with the necessary differences compared to the past, also thanks to a certain adaptability towards new contexts. It turns out to be an absolutely polyvalent resource, and the properties that have made it an essential element for ancient economies as well as more modern ones, have also found application in more practical areas. It is also one of the most widespread and coveted items on the second-hand market.
How much will the gold used be worth? “Beyond belief”
But what is gold? It is a metal that is part of the category of those that can be defined as “noble”, that is, with an important number of unique properties that make it precious in many areas. Gold was probably the first raw metal to be found, and properties such as shineductility, resistance, and beauty immediately made an incredible impact on human beings.
It was immediately considered ideal for the creation of aesthetic objects, such as jewelry, jewels and any other form of objects that served to represent the pomp and economic status, as well as for coins, being a material impossible to imitate effectively. The second-hand market is just as important as the traditional one as although the availability of gold is greater than in the past (thanks to the new excavation techniques, above all), the quantity of this mineral on the planet is however limited and is also applied in areas professional. The gold used follows a variable value like any other type: it is above all in the conditions of crisis that the demand for gold, as safe haven increases. Currently, the valuation in Italy exceeds 40 euros per gram, referring to the most widespread type of gold on the second-hand market, namely 18-karat gold (750 gold) which is the typical purity used for jewels. Given the crisis, it would be advisable to wait a bit before selling it: valuations could rise and gold could exceed 50 euro per gram over the next few months.
