Milan Škriniar has definitively confirmed his next career move. After years, the captain of the Slovak national team is leaving Inter Milan for Paris Saint-Germain. In the capital of France, the elite stopper will earn a decent salary, sports journalist Nicolò Schira reveals.

The saga surrounding the 27-year-old Slovak football player is over. The situation surrounding his contract has caused great uncertainty for more than a year. In the end, however, it became clear and Inter Milan fans were definitely not happy about it.
The recognized stopper agreed to the offer of Paris Saint-Germain after a long consideration. As Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported, the Slovak has already signed a contract with the French giant, thus sealing his future transfer. In addition, the Parisians would like to bring Milan Škriniar in the winter. A favorable offer landed on the table of the Milan team, but it did not meet with a positive response.
The Nerazzurri fought until the end to keep their star player. However, from a financial point of view, they did not have the slightest chance with the entity owned by the Qataris.
As revealed by Nicolò Schira, officials from the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium reached deep into their wallets and offered the defender 6 million euros per season, plus half a million in bonuses. In the end, this offer turned out to be insufficient.
The captain of the Slovak national team earns money in Paris Saint-Germain 9 million per year. Bonuses in the amount of two million will be added to this. Of course, the 27-year-old player has guaranteed himself a considerable one signing bonus. It is expected that this amount will reach up to 16 million euros.
In the current season, Milan Škriniar appeared in the Inter Milan jersey 27 times. The team, in which he has been working since 2017, is in second place in the Serie A table.
