The new Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig not only won the brilliant crown, but also won several awards during her year of reign.
The 21-year-old Dane, who won the competition this Saturday, November 16 in Mexico City, will receive $250,000 in annual salary for her responsibilities associated with Miss Universe.
In addition to that, you will get a monthly salary of $50,000, to cover personal expenses.
The crown that the new woman will wear is a piece made by hand by the Filipino jeweler house Jewlemer. It is plated in 18-karat gold, has 23 golden pearls and diamonds.
It is believed that the value of this piece that the young woman will be wearing may be more than $6 million, although it was not revealed.
Among some of the prizes announced in the contest that the new queen could win are premium skin care and cosmetic products from MU Cosmetics, a two-carat Pandora ring, and a watch from the luxury brand Bulova.
Likewise, as a representative of Miss Universe, Kjær Theilvig will travel to several countries to carry a humanitarian message around the world.
Who is the new Miss Universe 2024?
Kjær, 21, has participated in global dance competitions, works in diamond sales and advocates for animal rights.
“Miss Universe has inspired generations of women, what would you like to say to those who are watching you?” they asked her. Kjaer began by saying that her message was for everyone who saw her, not just women.
“No matter where you come from, no matter your past, you can always choose to make it your strength, it will never define who you are, you just have to keep fighting. “I am here now, because I wanted to change, I wanted to make history and that is what I am,” he said. “So never give up always believe in yourself and your dreams and that is exactly what you should do.”
Miss Denmark had two outstanding performances with great poise on stage. This is the first time that a representative from that country has won the crown.
The influencer Lele Pons, a member of the jury, asked her in the round of five finalists how she would live her life differently if she knew that no one was judging her. Before answering, Kjær said in Spanish: “Hello Mexico!” and received a standing ovation.
“I would never change my life, we learn from our mistakes, we learn every day, we learn something new, and we have to take that and carry it into the future, so one day at a time,” he said “I wouldn’t change anything.”

Victoria Kjær Theilvig: Well, I was absolutely ecstatic when they called my name as the new Miss Universe 2024. It was a dream come true, and I felt incredibly honored to represent Denmark and make history as the first winner from my country. Since then, it’s been an amazing journey so far. I’ve been travelling the world, meeting new people, and spreading positive messages about self-love and empowerment.
World-Today-News: As a part of your role as Miss Universe, you receive an impressive salary package including a staggering $250,0000 annual salary. How do you plan to use this money towards your personal and charitable endeavors?
Victoria Kjær Theilvig: The annual salary is certainly a welcome addition, but for me, the responsibilities associated with being Miss Universe are more important than the monetary compensation. I plan to use this money to support causes I’m passionate about such as animal rights and environmental conservation. I will also be investing in my education and furthering my skills as a global ambassador.

Victoria Kjær Theilvig: The crown is truly a work of art. It’s made from 18-karat gold and adorned with 23 golden pearls and diamonds, making it truly one-of-a-kind. The value of the crown has not been disclosed, but I know that it represents the beauty, elegance, and strength that I hope to embody during my reign.
