How much is Sinopharm Vaccine for Mutual Cooperation Vaccination? This is Bio Farma’s explanation

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government through the Ministry of BUMN decides on the implementation mutual assistance vaccination starting to be held on May 17, 2021 or after the Eid al-Fitr.

“I will straighten it out, mutual cooperation vaccination is not on May 9 but May 17. So after Lebaran, there will be mutual cooperation vaccinations,” said the Special Staff of SOE Minister Arya Sinulingga in a virtual discussion, Thursday (6/5/2021).

Arya said, the procurement of the Covid-19 vaccine for mutual aid vaccination is borne by companies which are given free of charge to employees or laborers and their families.

Then, how much does the vaccine cost Sinopharm?

Spokesperson for Covid-19 Vaccination from PT Bio Farma Bambang Heriyanto said, in determining the price structure, his party was accompanied by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

He said, the estimated price of the Sinopharm Vaccine is IDR 500,000 per dose and its services.

“Estimates have already been conveyed that the range of Rp. 500,000 per dose is included in the service, if two doses are around Rp. 1 million,” Bambang said in a virtual discussion, Thursday.

However, Bambang said, the price for Sinopharm Vaccine was not final and had to be submitted to the Ministry of Health.

“This is still waiting and in process, hopefully we can finalize it before this price will be submitted to the Ministry of Health,” he said.

Furthermore, Bambang said, the Sinopharm Vaccine has the same platform as the Sinovac Vaccine, which is an inactivated virus so that it is thought to have side effects that are not much different.

“If we look at the side effects of AEFI, we can learn from Sinovac, of the 20 million vaccines injected, so God willing, it’s safe,” he concluded.

Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Wiku Adisasmito said the regulations regarding the price of vaccines for mutual cooperation are currently being discussed by the Ministry of Health.

This price determination will later be outlined in a Ministry of Health Regulation (Permenkes).
“The Minister of Health’s Minister of Health is discussing the Minister of Health’s Minister of Health with the Ministry of Health’s Minister of Health’s Minister of Health’s regulation regarding the price of mutual aid and will be announced after an official decision is made,” said Wiku, Thursday.
