How much does the first hybrid Dacia cost? Prices for Dacia Jogger Hybrid

Dacia presented the new Jogger Hybrid. Thus, the most versatile car in the domestic manufacturer’s offer also becomes its first hybrid.

Dacia recently revealed the specifications of the new Jogger Hybrid 140, its first model to use a hybrid engine. The ‘most affordable hybrid family car on the market’ will be available from January 2023 and prices have been revealed, says car scoop.

Indeed, the prices have been revealed, for the moment for the French market. The new Jogger Hybrid has a starting price of 24,600 euros. In France, the basic version of the Jogger costs 16,990 euros, so here we are talking about a difference of over 7,600 euros. In Romania, the cheapest Jogger has a starting price of 16,490 euros. For now, we don’t have the prices for the Jogger Hybrid in the configurator for Romania.

Dacia Jogger Hybrid – The first Dacia model to receive a hybrid engine

From an aesthetic point of view, Hybrid joggers it differs in nothing compared to the standard models, except for the emblem on the tailgate. Naturally, the car benefits from the new brand identity that Dacia has introduced across its model range. This consists of a new logo, an updated color palette, but also finishes that have received other finishes.

Inside, the Jogger Hybrid has a 7-inch digital dashboard. This is only available on the hybrid variant and displays battery and current flow data.

From a mechanical point of view, The car uses a 1.6 liter petrol engine and two electric motors, one of which is used as a high voltage starter generator. The internal combustion engine delivers 90 HP, the electric one develops 50 HP, for a total power of 140 HP.

The battery has a capacity of 1.2 kWh and is located in place of the spare wheel, so it won’t affect space for passengers. Dacia claims that regenerative braking and the high energy recovery capacity of the 1.2 kWh battery offer the possibility of city driving in 100% electric mode up to 80% of the time. According to the manufacturer, the Jogger Hybrid can travel over 900 kilometers on one tank.

Orders will open in January and the first orders will be delivered in March 2023.
