Chelsea have signed with Fever for the sleeve of the shirt, now they need to find a major sponsor to put on the front.
Chelsea FC recently announced a major new partnership with Fever, a technology platform focused on fan-centric entertainment discovery. The collaboration sees the addition of on-shirt visibility, with the Fever logo now appearing on the sleeves of the men’s first team shirts, as well as the women’s and academy teams’ shirts for their upcoming seasons.
A deal worth almost €8 million per season for Chelsea
The collaboration will bring the Blues the equivalent of 8, plus or minus 8 million euros per year. That is to say less than the main competitors of the London club, Manchester United, City, Liverpool or Arsenal, who earn 12 to 23 million euros from sponsors placed on the sleeves of the shirts. The Blues are suffering from not playing in the Champions League this season.
The Blues are without a major sponsor on the jersey
Chelsea have also yet to find a major sponsor to put on the front of the shirts, since the agreement with Infinite Athlete only covered the end of last season and the campaign of the summer friendlies. This is a loss of revenue of more or less fifty million euros for the club.
