Marketing Strategy Manager of PT PLN (Persero), Oscar Praditya, even though 1 kWh costs Rp 2,446.78, Oscar said car users can write their own amount of power needed.
“There is a choice (in the application) of 1 kWh, 5 kWh, or you can request. For 1 kWh it is Rp 2,446.78 depending on how much we want, for example 100 kWh can also be done,” he explained to the media crew, at SPKLU Central Parking ITDC Nusa Dua, Bali , Friday (25/3/2022).
So how much does it cost to charge an electric car battery at SPKLU?
Oscar said, if the calculation using the battery capacity of electric cars would be different. For Hyundai’s G80 EV electric car, which was available at the inauguration of the SPKLU, for example, the battery capacity is 87.2 kWh.
So, if to fully charge 100%, 87.2 kWh is multiplied by Rp. 2,446.78/kWh. The amount is Rp. 213,359.2. The price does not include taxes and administrative fees for the digital wallet used by the user.
This price and 100% capacity can be used to cover a distance of 435 km with a full car using AC. Meanwhile, if the AC is off, it can travel approximately 488 km
