The number of new infections is going in the right direction. Our country is no longer at the top of the European ranking: since last weekend, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg have led us. But it is still much too early to introduce easing. “We will have to continue our efforts until we count less than fifty infections per day,” says Professor Geert Molenberghs (KU Leuven and U Hasselt). “Only then can we return to a fairly normal life.”
