Customers in Romania are still waiting for Duster’s facelift sales prices. Those from France and Germany have already found out, and there are no shortage of surprises. If you are wondering how much the Germans pay for the new Dacia Duster, suffice it to say that it is the lowest price in Europe.

After I found out two weeks ago, marketing prices of the new Duster on the French market, now Dacia has also published prices in Germany. The SUV produced in Mioveni will surely upset the Germans, if not by the changes brought, at least by its price
We can say that the extremely aggressive sales policy on the German market will leave little hope for the competition. Dacia Duster can be configured by the Germans at prices starting from 11,990 euros, this being the lowest Duster can be bought in Europe. We know, Germans are poor and thoughtful people, they can’t afford expensive cars, unlike Romanians, who only dream of top of the range.
There is also an explanation for this low price: German customers can configure Duster in the Spartan Access equipment, which is no longer sold in Romania or France. Beyond this detail, Duster still remains just as cheap in Germany. In the Essential equipment, which is the basic one in France, the Germans withdraw 13,190 euros from their accounts. By comparison, the rich French can afford a much more expensive Duster, from 14,990 euros (+1,800 euros). To be even more categorical, Germans can order manual air conditioning for 800 euros, compared to 900 euros, which costs in France.
How much do the Germans pay for the new Dacia Duster: The richest Europeans get the cheapest Duster
Basically, the Germans will buy superior equipment for the same money (Comfort equipment costs 14,990 euros in Germany, just like Essential equipment in France). At the top of the range, the Prestige equipment costs 15,990 euros in Germany, compared to 18,100 euros in France. The most expensive models in the configurator are Duster Prestige TCe 150 4WD, which costs 21,090 euros in Germany. The French cannot buy this combination, instead being able to opt for the version with front-wheel drive and EDC gearbox, which costs 22,400 euros. In Germany, the same combination is over 2,200 euros cheaper.
In Romania, the Dacia Duster face-lift will be available for orders only in September, when deliveries will start on all European markets. So far, the company has not announced prices for the local market. The prices of the current model, which start at 14,050 for the Essential equipment, are still 860 euros higher than the model with the facelift in Germany. Let’s not forget, however, that the Essential equipment of the pre-facelift model includes the air conditioning system as standard, which would explain the difference.
