At a symposium in September 21, representatives from ten church institutions discussed – including Fastenopfer – about how much CO2 Switzerland under the aspect of Climate justice may still expel. On October 26th, 2021 Fastenopfer, Bread for everyone and OEKU in the Hotel Kreuz in Bern presented the result of this conference.
After inputs from Katrin Schneeberger, Director of the Federal Office for the Environment Bafu, and Stefan Salzmann, responsible for energy and climate justice at Fastenopfer, there will be a panel discussion.
On the panel – on the subject of “Climate-friendly CO2– The remaining emissions budget and what it means for Switzerland, the churches and politics “- discuss:

- Prof. Dr. Sonia Seneviratne (ETHZ, IPCC)
