Fuel prices are going up again – for now for a dozen or so groszy, but as wholesale fuels are also becoming more expensive and crude oil has grown strongly on the world markets for a week, it can be expected that this slight upward trend will continue until the end of the first week of April. And what next?
Further things may be better, at least judging by the sudden retreat of the high prices on the world markets. Today, on Tuesday, March 29, oil in the markets fell sharply – nearly 10 percent. At. At 7.00 am Polish time a barrel of brent crude oil was USD 106.5, while at the end of last week it was above USD 120. The crude barrel contracts were traded at 103.4. If this trend continues, trips for Easter – certainly much more common than usual after the lifting of all pandemic sanctions, will be much cheaper than traveling today!
Prices at Polish fuel stations react to what is happening on the raw material and currency markets. The short stabilization of world oil prices resulted in lower wholesale prices of fuel in Poland and, consequently, following the market leader – PKN ORLEN, which twice in the week of March 14-21 fuel prices.
