Fuel prices are going up again – for a dozen or so cents for now, but judging by the sharp upward trend in oil prices in the commodity markets in the recent days, a repeat of the strong increases at petrol stations may take place in the near future. Prices at Polish fuel stations react to what is happening on the raw material and currency markets. The short stabilization of world oil prices resulted in lower wholesale prices of fuel in Poland and, consequently, following the market leader – PKN ORLEN, which twice in the week of March 14-21 fuel prices.

According to the calculations of the e-Petrol.pl portal, the average fuel price at stations in Poland in the period 16-23 March 2022 was as follows:
- PB98: PLN 6.92 and decreased by PLN 0.27 compared to the previous 7-day period (PLN 7.19, previous average price),
- PB95: PLN 6.59, decreased by PLN 0.20 (previously PLN 6.79),
- ON: PLN 7.29, cheaper by PLN 0.30 (previously PLN 7.59),
- LPG: PLN 3.79, unchanged (PLN 3.79 previously).
