How much are Dancing on Ice competitors, judges and professionals paid?

DANCING on Ice is back on the small screen tonight tonight with three well-known names vying to be crowned the series winner.

These famous faces are well rewarded for their time and we know who gets what.

What do competitors and professional dancers get paid?

As with the show’s judges, exact salaries are not known, although The Sun exclusively revealed that TV executives last year got a bumper budget to get the top stars.

The salaries of those on the show are said to be between £ 20,000 and £ 100,000.

In the past, some participants have said that the salary is not very high.

Former candidate Cheryl Baker has previously said: “The money is not very good in my opinion.

“I’ve been training six days a week since October. If you make it to the final it’s a six month project, so the money isn’t much in comparison.

“In this industry, you can go months at a time without a job. You cannot refuse the job.

” I have to work. I have a mortgage and bills to pay. I’m not a saver, never have been. “

It is not known if professional skaters make more money in each series.

The highest-paid star in Dancing on Ice history was Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, who earned £ 150,000 in 2013.

How much are judges paid?

The jury is again made up of Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Ashley Banjo and John Barrowman.

Presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield are also back for another season.

Broadcaster ITV did not reveal how much they were paid, but Strictly Come Dancing judges are paid at least £ 200,000 per series.

Shirley Ballas, who is the chief judge of the BBC1 show, orders £ 500,000 per series.
