For me, the most interesting are those people who decided to vote for him. And since there has been a complete media blackout around this party, I started reading their comments under the party’s meager Facebook posts.
Attempt profile
The first thing that makes an impression is that these people have nothing to do with politics. Some may be young, others are guest workers abroad, others just haven’t been interested so far – I don’t know. But I see that there are no demands, no positions on the debates in parliament.
Strange for a formation to which we attribute a populist profile – no one opens a word about higher pensions and even the dynastic attitude of the people from “There is such a people” (ITN) to the Kovid epidemic is very rarely sneaked into the comments.
Neither the majority vote, nor the halving of the deputies, nor the direct election of a chief prosecutor are discussed – topics with which Mr. Trifonov made his political forcing. There have been some passions about changes to the election law that make it easier for Bulgarians to vote abroad, especially those from Turkey – but accusations of national treason are likely to come from nationalists with drums.
Most of the reactions are purely emotional: here and there they are disappointed – they voted for Slavi, but will not repeat because of the returned term, for example: wedding night “.
However, about two-thirds unreservedly support the return of the mandate and the monastic silence of the leader and wish health: “Market Links generously gave them 2-3 percent growth, but this only offends them more – sociologists are paid like everyone else, of course they will have 51% in the next election – majority or death. “
Enthusiasm is often expressed with gifs of applause or emotional reactions from popular actors. What do they enjoy? Although they swear that they will vote for their idol again, there are few people who believe that after this supposedly strategic move, ITN will get a full majority in July. Of course, the main enemy is Borissov, but the joy of victory over the political spills over into hatred of communists, Sorosoids and personally Maya Manolova, which risks making any cooperation in the future parliament disappointing for these people. To make them happy, Trifonov will probably have to refuse to form a government next time, to send a boxing champion for the mandate, I know.
They enthusiastically share a video in the genre of “the best of” with the most aggressive statements of Toshko Yordanov – an otherwise intelligent man, whom we hoped to see as prime minister, but whom the situation risks turning into a new Toma Bikov.
The energy with which this electorate comes on stage does not aim to change one model with another – it wants to punish everyone. Various geniuses explain to us that there must be a government, that decisions must be made, but we will be stubborn, we will block everything and then we will see how you will manage.
We are used to calling such a vote a protest, but here we seem to have gone further – the leader is silent, forbids his deputies to speak, uses the unfortunate champion elected prime minister as a metaphor for his strategic intelligence (“Chess and checkmate!” ).
Isn’t it insulting to the fans that they don’t give them explanations, that they organize them from home in their pajamas, from their personal Facebook profile? Well, obviously not, because these people hate not only politics, but also the media, which tells them some incomprehensible things, and they also hate sales analysts, who stretch delicacies.
Now what?
It is harder for me to imagine how it is possible for all those experts who believed in Trifonov, fought in elections, made programs to be silent.
For years we have been listening to the intelligent analyzes of Ms. Mika Zaykova – where is she now to explain her economic ideas, how did she decide to obey the party discipline? Where are speakers like Chorbanov, Hinovski? Don’t they feel used? Will they participate again in July?
