What inspired you to start your company, and what do you love most about your job?
I have always been very interested in nature and the environment, which led me to start my company. I have always had the idea that I want to do something big and take personal responsibility for contributing to a more sustainable world. What I am most passionate about is the freedom to realize ideas and see how they can create real benefit for others. It’s like building a puzzle where each piece leads to something bigger and more important. The creative process and the opportunity to make a difference gives me energy every day in my work.
If you could describe your company in three words, what would they be and why?
Sustainable, innovative, customer focused.
Sustainable because we work to recycle and reuse cars, which is good for the environment.
Innovative because we are always looking for new and smarter ways to improve our processes and make them more efficient.
Focus on customers because we always put the needs of the customers first and offer a simple and smooth process with high quality and fast payment.
What is the funniest or most unexpected thing that happened on your business trip?
One of the funniest and most rewarding experiences was when we got to help a couple from Malmö prepare their son’s first car as a birthday present. They had visited several workshops but were told that the repair would be expensive as the catalytic converter had been stolen and the car had a 2.4 engine, making a cheap fix impossible. When they approached us, we were extra motivated to help. Our talented worker came up with a smart solution to fix the car at a reasonable cost. We inspected the car and it was approved. As a thank you, we received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and a nice card with the most touching words. It was a very warm moment and it reminded us why we love what we do.
What advice would you give to someone who dreams of starting their own business?
My advice is to not be afraid to go ahead. You won’t feel like you have all the answers, but it’s important to get started and learn along the way. Be careful to plan and have a clear business idea, but also be flexible and open to changes.
What do you do when you’re not working – how do you relax or get inspired in your spare time?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs. It’s the perfect balance between relaxation and quality time. I also get a lot of inspiration from being out in nature and walking the dogs. It helps me clear my mind and reflect on new ideas. It helps me to find new perspectives both in life and in the company.
Why did you join Företagarna?
I joined Företagarna because it is a good opportunity to network and exchange experiences with other entrepreneurs. It provides access to a wide network and resources that help develop the company and myself as an entrepreneur. The entrepreneurs have been a platform to find support, advice and new ideas that have been invaluable to me and my business journey.
