“We have made a great effort to apply these doses. The opportunity we have to prevent it from expiring is by attending to get vaccinated”Alexander RojasDirector of the Nerve Center

Rojas clarified that it is no longer possible to donate these vaccines because the logistics of negotiating and applying the doses take more than the 13 days that remain.

Regarding the vaccination centers, he acknowledged that they will continue to close and that the efforts are focused on “house to house” and the vaccination of children.

“We are adapting, people are not going and we have to go look for them,” he said.

117 thousand children vaccinated

Dr. Rojas reported that 117,000 children have already received the first dose of their anticovid vaccine and that in the current week, from March 14 to 20, it is expected that some 46,000 who will have already completed 28 days of their first inoculation will be place the second dose.

In just two days after starting the second phase of vaccination with Sinovac in children from 5 to 11 children, of those 46,000 predicted, some 7,000 infants have completed their schedule with two doses.
