Pokémon GO – How many friends can players have?
In Pokémon GO, players can add friends to see events like Pokémon caught, Gyms earned, and Pokémon evolved in their feed. In addition to this, trainers can also send gifts to their friends to help them on their adventures and form teams to enjoy the game together through raids and group matches.
In Pokémon GO, players are limited to the number of friends they can have on their list at one time, but the friend limit is limited to 400.. This means that unless you’re as popular and sought after as a Charizard from the core set, you should have plenty of room to work with.
However, you should note that this is a Niantic friends list and not a Pokémon GO friends list, which means that the 400 friends roll over all the other Niantic apps you own. When it comes to sending friend requests, any request that hasn’t been answered within seven days will expire, meaning players will have to send a new one or accept having been ghosted as Gengar (Ouch!).
