This was stated by the deputy chairman of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA Atanas Merdzhanov from the parliamentary tribune in a blitz control to the Minister of the Interior Rumyana Bachvarova. He recalled that yesterday, when asked about her resignation during a briefing, the Prime Minister fiercely defended her, transferring the responsibility to the professional leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Merdzhanov commented that today Bachvarova stated to the media that there are circles that aim to destabilize the Ministry of the Interior, the government and the state. “On the other hand, the mayor of Vratsa, Mr. Kamenov, stated that this is how it is in Vratsa – this is everyday life, i.e. the absence of police officers. In fact, what is happening in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and are you, as the head of this department, confident that you can guarantee the security of Bulgarian citizens. How many more corpses are needed to undermine your sense of stability?” asked Atanas Merdzhanov.
The People’s Representative is adamant that there is no way to be calm after the citizens ask the same questions. “Your chief consultant – Mr. Borisov, defending you, defined the Bulgarian reality as an American series. The difference is that in the American series the killers are finally revealed”, concluded Atanas Merdzhanov.
