How many cases of coronavirus are there in Florida, Miami-Dade, and Broward? | Univision 23 Miami WLTV

The Florida Department of Health reported in its report on Sunday that cases of coronavirus they increased to 141,075 among residents of the state and elsewhere.

The report indicates that 3,419 people have lost their lives due to covid-19 and of these deaths 953 have occurred in Miami-Dade and 382 in Broward.

In Miami-Dade there are 33,714 cases of covid-19 and in Broward 14,620, according to the latest report. Between both counties there are 48,334 cases, the counties that concentrate the most the total number of people infected with coronavirus throughout Florida. The third county with the most coronavirus cases is Palm Beach, with 13,389.

In Florida, 1,883,244 people (out of a population of 21.3 million) have been tested to determine if they are infected with the covid-19, of those 1,740,822 gave a negative result.

The recommendation offered by the authorities is that, to avoid infections, if the person does not feel well, they should stay home and call the toll-free number of the health center. They also offer a list of places where those with symptoms can be tested.
