On the other hand, Minister Sucre confirmed this to the media Panama is going through the sixth wave of covid-19, highlighting that cases have been on the rise in recent weeks as have deaths; compared to previous weeks in which the country had 3% positivity.
Covid-19, maintain biosecurity measures
The Director General of Health of MINSA, Melva Crúz, in an interview with the media reminded the population how important it is to continue to maintain biosecurity measures, such as hand hygiene, distancing and the use of masks in public transport , in hospitals and in spaces where there are none is agglomeration.
This is excluded by staff handling food, health facilities and public transport drivers as the pandemic is not over, so it is important to follow biosecurity measures.
