.- How long have you been writing?
I have been writing since I was 19, until 8 or 9 years ago, which is when I joined the Almena poetry group, I had written about 130 poems and now I have written approximately 600.
.- What parts make up the book?
In the book there is a first part “Verses from yesterday that is already past” that belong to those 130 poems. The later poems correspond to “And when I met the Almena group” and “I started walking and at their side I have grown.”
.- What is the main theme?
The book has a total of 88 verses. I talk about everything a little, but many of them are religious in nature and things that I feel, the relationship with my wife of which I remember especially in “I want” which is one of the old ones and I dedicated it to her when we already had our Five sons.
.- Why Cáritas Diocesana de Zamora?
Cáritas because I have been in the Christian Family Movement for a long time and I am in the Choir of Christ the King and because of that connection I prefer to give it to the Church.
.- Will this hobby continue?
I will continue writing, but I don’t know if I will publish. I’ll wait to see how this book turns out.
