Sales of electric cars in Bulgaria in July increased by 150% to 170 units compared to 68 units a year earlier. Our country is overtaken in growth only by Belgium, where registrations of this type of drive grow by nearly 236 percent.
For the first seven months of the year, the growth of sales of electric cars in our country was 156.5 percent to 1,039 units. For the same period, registrations of electric models in the EU increased on an annual basis by 54.7% to 819,725 units.
Undoubtedly, compatriots have become more interested in electric cars, as well as how profitable and convenient the operation of an electric car is.
