Kim Kardashian does not want her children to be confronted with the statements her ex Ye makes on social media. She narrates in reality series The Kardashians that her four children don’t know what their father is saying.
“When things are said, it kind of sets off a chain reaction in my house,” said Kardashian. “Then we don’t watch TV anymore. I can’t risk their father being mentioned and they want to watch,” the reality star explains. “I have to protect my children, so they haven’t seen anything yet.”
After Kardashian and Ye split up two years ago, the two got into trouble several times due to statements made by the rapper on social media. For example, he lashed out at Pete Davidson, with whom Kardashian was together for a while. Ye also shared private messages from the reality star. In addition to private quarrels, Ye is also regularly discredited by anti-Semitic statements on his social media.
“I get accused of so many things,” says Kardashian. “It’s hurtful and sucks, but I can control how I react. I really believe that one day my kids will understand why I’m doing all this now. I’ll always do my best to protect them.”
