LONDON – Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine is the biggest security crisis in Europe since World War II. While most attention is rightly focused on the military events of the here and now on the ground in Ukraine, it is wise to look long-term to how this will turn out, if only to be prepared. The Atlantic Council, an advisory body of former government leaders, former generals and leading academics, outlines four war scenarios, starting with the rosy one.
