George R.R. Martin is a man who really puts his fans through a tough test of patience.

Since then he published the fifth volume of „Game of Thrones“ completed in 2011, fans have so far been waiting in vain for the way ahead.

Of course there was the finale of the series in between, Martin however, rest assured that he will end his books differently.

Now the demented maestro speaks up personally and writes that he mainly uses the corona pandemic to continue writing his book. He had managed to complete many chapters and write several hours every day. However, the novel will not be finished tomorrow and published next week. Martin further revealed that he still had a long way to go to er „The Winds of Winter“ have finally ended.

He wished himself that writing would be as quick as it was back in 1999 when he made 150 pages a month.

Apparently, fans have to wait a long time.
