Chandon returns to the cultural scene with the second edition of Chandon Artground, its artistic festival of creative experiences that proposes an innovative way of experiencing art. The event was held for the first time in September 2018 and is now back in 2021 doubling its duration. It is a festival where various artistic disciplines are found under the slogans of interact, experiment and share in creative spaces with theater, music and gastronomy.
The curators of this second edition are Maricel Álvarez and Emilio García Wehbi, a creative duo that has been developing for more than 20 years. His activities have covered both theater and dance, opera, performance, installation, urban intervention, curation and teaching. They were in charge of inviting the artists who will take part in the 10 experimental spaces of this new edition.
Among the artists of there are Romina Orazi, who will present her work Alud; Manuel Ameztoy with Palmar; Leandro Ibarra with Atlas; Victoria Boulay with her participatory work “Poema sin titulo” and Agnese Lozupone with “Variaciones lumicas mutantes”, among other artists.
In addition, five of the most outstanding dancers of contemporary contemporary dance will offer solos in which each one, interacting with the musical intervention proposed by the DJ, will unfold over 15 minutes a survey of several of the topics of their interest. The relationship between man and nature, the party and its consequences, fatigue and repetition, always using his body as an expressive support.
The festival will open its doors on the first day from 8pm to midnight, and the following days from 6pm to midnight. During the 6 days you can also enjoy live music shows with a confirmed line up of emerging bands and other established ones: Otto Bunge, Peter Etcheverry, El Zar with an acoustic show, Silvestre y la Naranja, Potra, among others.
