Indonesia will hold a democratic party, namely electing a president, on February 14.

In the 2024 presidential election, there are three pairs of candidates (paslon), namely candidate pair number 01 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and candidate number 03 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

According to information from the General Election Commission (KPU), Indonesian citizens (Indonesian citizen) who are abroad have three procedures for voting on ballot papers.

“That is voting at TPSLN [Tempat Pemungutan Suara Luar Negeri]Mobile Ballot Boxes (KSK) and posts,” said the KPU’s statement on the official website.

The KPU explained that Indonesian citizens can come to voting stations (TPS) which are usually provided at Indonesian citizen gathering centers or embassies or consulates general.

For Indonesian citizens who are far from the TPSLN location, they can vote by voting by voting and putting it in a mobile ballot box or voting and then sending the ballot via PPLN post.

“The election process abroad will be carried out earlier or early voting compared to the election at home,” read the KPU’s statement.

Even though it was carried out first, the vote counting and recapitulation process was carried out at the same time as in the country.

Voting abroad will take place from 5 to 14 February 2024.

Domestically, the Indonesian people will exercise their voting rights on February 14 provided they have been registered on the permanent voter list (DPT).

They must visit the nearest polling station to vote which will start at 07.00-13.00 local time.
