Igor Kostolevsky was married to Elena Romanova, but unexpectedly fell in love. So the actor was 50 years old and managed to radically change his life.
The new chosen one of the artist was a foreign actress. Kostolevsky laid eyes on French Consuelo de Aviland, whom she met at one of the performances at the Pushkin Theater.
During a banquet organized by the artists after the show, the screen star did not dare to speak to a colleague, but when he was about to leave he realized that he could no longer hesitate. Kostolevsky intended to ask for Consuelo’s phone number, but he couldn’t limit himself to that and it broke down.
“He kissed me on the lips in front of everyone,” the Frenchwoman later said as part of the television program Exclusive. At the same time, she made it clear that she did not immediately understand what exactly happened. As it turned out, the celebrity took the incident as a tribute to Russian tradition, recalling that even Leonid Brezhnev “kissed everyone on the lips”.
Eventually, the artist achieved his goal and married Consuelo. She the actress moved to Russia, where she converted to Orthodoxy and became Evdokia.
