Dacia, seriously hit by the crisis

After several periods in which it has stopped production in the last year, Dacia he accepted, from a point of view, his fate. His cars began to be delivered six months late, at least in France.

Dacia and the parent company, Renault, looked for several tricks to deal with the situation. For example, some Renault and Dacia models were delivered without the active emergency braking system or without the adjustment mechanism, respectively defrosting the side mirrors.

The first problem was the absence of the infotainment system. Basically, the main entertainment console was missing. Even so, the delivery time for a car ordered in October 2020 is until next spring. A Dacia Duster facelift, in particular, cannot be delivered earlier than May 2022.
