6 new cars were examined by Green NCAP experts in the third test series for 2024 – three electric (BYD Seal U, Kia EV6 and Toyota bZ4X), two petrol (Kia Ceed and Volkswagen Taigo) and one diesel (Peugeot 308). All received performance ratings for their motion systems.

The Chinese model received an average score of 93% (5 stars) due to zero tailpipe emissions, good energy efficiency and minimal greenhouse gas emissions. At a charge of 11 kW, the car proved that about 87% of its energy was cut from the electric plant.
