Nevertheless, there is a jury report in which Fournel was praised for his warmth and passion. Ledure himself draws up this conclusion, together with the management of the competition: “We do not discuss this with the jury either, but you do gather small hints or indications left and right.”

This way of working ultimately benefits the image of the competition and the winner, according to Ledure. “The credibility you get as a winner is so strong that you carry it with you as a business card throughout your career.”
