Its high price is understandable. The device contains several attachmentsincluding two dryers. These are said to work better than many ordinary hair dryers. The extra hair smoothes, curls and accentuates natural curls.

It has a total of 6 attachments, of which they are undoubtedly the most interesting wave attachments which they use the so-called Coanda effect – and that’s why the Dyson Airwrap really messed up the world. As for using it properly, it can be a real pain at first. But there are a lot of videos on the Internet where it is explained in detail.

Dyson brand products are known for their long life, so you don’t have to worry that it will stop working for you after a few years. As we have already written, the Dyson Airwrap can do the work of several appliances, and it is also a bit gentler, as it conditions the hair at lower temperatures. In the end, it depends mainly on you if you are willing to invest such a price and what you will get from such a device you actually expect. And that’s why we’ll also focus on cheaper alternatives below.

The Dyson Airwrap is undoubtedly one of them the best multistylers on the marketnot only with its functions, but also with its luxurious design and packaging. You can buy either a version for shorter hair or for longer. Dyson is very particular about the details, so it is comfortable to hold in the hand and overall user-friendly, users often say that it has no competition.

What is the Coanda effect

The Dyson Airwrap uses the so-called Coanda effect, which in this case appears to be created in practice rotating wind around the heads of the wind turbine. Thanks to that the hair curls tightly around the head without your help. And since the device helps the air flow, the hair can be curled even when wet. This is because it dries out during filming, without the use of extreme heat.

Will the waves created by the Dyson Airwrap last?

If there’s one thing the Dyson Airwrap can really do, it’s beautiful and airy looking waves like from a professional hairdresser. But some people’s waves last the whole day, some don’t. Shark Flexstyle 5 v 1

The popular Shark FlexStyle multistyler is considered to be one of the best Dyson alternatives. It is approx half cheaper than the world-renowned Dyson Airwrap, yet it offers much of what its more expensive counterpart has. It is available in a modern design and champagne color, has five attachments and a protective cover. It also has an attachment with the well-known Coanda effect. Its price ranges from CZK 5,100. It can also be purchased in a cheaper version with three attachments if you don’t use the rest.

Is Shark FlexStyle or Dyson Airwrap better?

When we focus on these two multistylers in detail, we find that there are other differences between them than just the price. The Dyson Airwrap has very well thought out little things, so nothing surprises you. On the other hand, the Shark multistyler has several small things that may bother users during normal use.

  • Shark FlexStyle includes five attachments for drying and curling hair including a diffuser and also for improving the structure of curls. The Dyson Airwrap also offers a popular attachment for smoothing flyaway hair.
  • Multistyler Shark has a slightly unfortunate location of the power buttons, which are located at the bottom of the styler, therefore se it may be a little harder for you to control. The Dyson Airwrap has them positioned in the middle so it doesn’t have this problem.
  • The Shark is louder in use than the Dyson multistyler and also creates more heat.
  • The Dyson Airwrap has an ionizer (reduces the static charge in the hair), whereas the Shark FlexStyle multistyler does not have this function.
  • He creates both multistylers very similar ripplestheir resulting effect is therefore almost the same. The Dyson Airwrap creates waves a little narrower, the Shark a little more airy.
  • One of the advantages of the Shark device is that it doubles as a hair dryer – at the push of a button, you can fold it into practical L shapeyou put on a diffuser or concentrator and you can dry. The multistyler from Dyson will of course also dry the hair, but it does not offer the possibility of folding.
  • The advantage of the newer Dyson models is that they no longer offer two attachments for the waves that you have to change, but just one that you turn to switch. In addition, spare attachments are more easily available in the Czech Republic. You still have to replace the wave attachments (right and left sides) on the Shark, but that’s true of most of the cheaper Airwrap alternatives.
  • Like Dyson, Shark exists in color variants. The most affordable are black and champagne, which look really luxurious. If you try, you can also get it in a beautiful blue-green version.

So if you’re looking for a cheaper option, it’s definitely worth it brand Shark look. The resulting effect is very similar very much in Dysonand at half price.
